About Hope Healing Center

Hope Healing Center exists to help people heal emotionally, mentally, and spiritually so they can live whole, connected, purpose-filled lives. We specialize in trauma care—especially childhood trauma, complex PTSD, anxiety, and major life transitions. Our approach is trauma-informed, attachment-aware, and faith-friendly. We create a safe, non-judgmental space where your story is seen, your nervous system can settle, and practical skills meet deep inner healing.

Healing is rarely a sprint. It’s a marathon. I started The Healing Marathon to share that journey—mile by mile. Therapy doesn’t always change our circumstances, but it does change us: how we understand our emotions, how we cope, and how we find real peace and even joy right in the middle of life as it is today.

How we work

We combine IFS (parts work), Brainspotting, and other trauma-informed modalities with practical nervous-system regulation. For clients who want it, we offer faith-informed practices that gently integrate Jesus into the healing process. If you’d rather keep therapy strictly clinical, that’s completely welcome—we’ll meet you where you are with respect, skill, and care.

What we help with
  • Childhood trauma and complex PTSD

  • Anxiety, panic, and stress-related symptoms

  • Grief, loss, and life transitions (marriage, divorce, career changes, health diagnoses)

  • Faith and identity questions after hard experiences (optional integration)

  • Somatic symptoms tied to stress (sleep, focus, vestibular/inner-ear-related stress responses)

What to expect from therapy

Therapy is a process, not a quick fix. Across weeks and months—not days—you can expect to:

  • grow emotionally attuned (name what you feel, why you feel it, and what it needs),

  • become more emotionally regulated (calm your body, steady your thoughts, respond instead of react), and

  • build real-world coping so you can meet your circumstances with wisdom—and experience more peace and joy again.

We pace the work for safety and sustainability: resource first, process when ready, integrate as you go.

Insurance & payment (why we don’t bill insurance)

We are a private-pay / out-of-network practice. We do not bill insurance directly. Here’s why:

  • Clinical freedom: Insurance companies often restrict session length/frequency, limit evidence-based options, and require diagnoses/disclosures that can work against personalized care.

  • Your privacy: Private-pay keeps sensitive details out of third-party systems and gives you greater control over your health information.

  • Right pace, right care: Trauma work benefits from flexibility—longer sessions, extended Brainspotting when appropriate, and timing that serves you, not a billing code.

If you have out-of-network benefits, we’re happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement. HSA/FSA cards are welcome.
